President Bola Tinubu has landed in Maiduguri, Borno State, to attend the annual Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Conference.

The president's plane touched down at the Air Force Base around 11:47 am, where he was welcomed with a brief military parade in his honor. Notable figures present to receive him included Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, former Governor Ali Modu Sheriff, Minister of Defence Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, and Senator Ali Ndume, among other dignitaries.

Beyond the military affairs, President Tinubu is set to make a strategic move by launching 100 buses, including 50 electric vehicles, a proactive measure by the Borno State Government to mitigate the impact of the fuel subsidy removal on citizens.
