The release of Nigeria's President Bola Tinubu's academic records by Chicago State University (CSU) has sparked a debate about the credibility of the President's academic credentials. X (formerly Twitter) influencer with over 200K followers, MissPearls, has conducted a thorough forensic analysis of the documents and uncovered several potential inconsistencies, which have become the centre of attention in the ongoing debate.

MissPearls, a prominent member of the Obi-Datti Campaign Council, has pointed out several discrepancies in the records. One of the most striking ones is the absence of the CSU Student ID number on the consent form submitted by Tinubu. Additionally, the quick response from Jamal Orr, Associate General Counsel for CSU, to Tinubu's request, which is unusual for such institutions, has raised questions.

Other points of contention include an unsigned letter from the registrar's office with a mismatched phone number, a 1979 record with a 1997 date, and handwritten details on an otherwise typewritten letter, which suggest possible tampering. MissPearls' analysis has also revealed that the university claims to lack Tinubu's identification details, which are required for exam admission, and that there are discrepancies in font styles and the nationality stated in the undergraduate application form.

MissPearls' forensic revelations have added fuel to the ongoing debate about the President's academic credentials, with the nation's attention now focused on the upcoming deposition hearing in the US. Her conclusion suggests potential collusion between Tinubu and CSU, a claim that Nigerians will undoubtedly scrutinise in the coming days.
