Fenerbahçe defender Bright Osayi-Samuel faces a disciplinary hearing by the Turkish Football Federation after a pitch invasion incident in March. Osayi-Samuel and teammates were involved in a confrontation with Trabzonspor fans following their team's 3-2 loss.
The Turkish FA summoned Osayi-Samuel and two others for a disciplinary hearing following the altercation during the league game. Video footage showed Osayi-Samuel punching a fan who ran onto the pitch, while Dutch defender Jayden Oosterwolde was accused of kicking the same fan. The Turkish FA's disciplinary committee stated that players involved could face bans of three to five matches.
Additionally, Fenerbahçe player Michi Batshuayi will face the disciplinary body for his actions during the altercation. Thirteen Trabzonspor supporters have been arrested, with five in pre-trial detention, while a Trabzonspor assistant coach will also appear before the disciplinary board.
