Mercy Chinwo and her husband Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa offer full scholarships to 100 UNICAL undergraduates, aiming to support bright, needy students. This philanthropic gesture underscores their commitment to education and societal impact.

Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, have extended a generous offer of full scholarships to 100 undergraduates of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) through their MercyIsBlessed Foundation.

The announcement was made during their visit to the university in Calabar, Cross River State, where they addressed enthusiastic students on July 12, 2024. This scholarship initiative covers all tuition fees and additional support to ensure educational stability for deserving but financially disadvantaged students at UNICAL.

The couple's philanthropic efforts are not new, as earlier this year, they similarly supported 50 undergraduates at the University of Port Harcourt through their MercyBlessed Foundation. Mercy Chinwo, known for hits like 'You Do This One', expressed her gratitude and motivation behind this initiative, emphasizing her roots and the importance of giving back to society.
