Social critic Martins Vincent Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, is set to appear before the House of Representatives on September 30 regarding allegations that crossdresser Bobrisky bribed EFCC officials with N15 million to dismiss a money laundering case. The investigation raises concerns about corruption and accountability in Nigeria.

Social critic Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, is scheduled to appear before the House of Representatives' investigation panel regarding allegations of bribery against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). This follows VeryDarkMan's release of an audio recording in which crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, purportedly claims to have bribed EFCC officials with N15 million to dismiss a money laundering case against him.

In the audio, Bobrisky also allegedly stated that he did not serve his six-month jail sentence in Kirikiri prison as mandated by the court, but instead resided in an apartment arranged by his godfather. This revelation has led the House of Representatives to invite both VeryDarkMan and Bobrisky, along with EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede, as part of its ongoing inquiry into the situation.

Deji Adeyanju, the attorney representing VeryDarkMan, confirmed via a post on X that his client would attend the session at the National Assembly to assist in the investigation. Adeyanju expressed the intent to address the allegations that Bobrisky paid N15 million to evade money laundering charges and bribed prison officials to secure a more comfortable living situation.
