Victor Boniface has secured a record-breaking transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, making him Nigeria’s highest-paid footballer. The 24-year-old striker will earn €15 million per season, surpassing Victor Osimhen’s €12 million salary.
His former club, Bayer Leverkusen, will receive over €60 million for the transfer—three times what they paid Union St. Gilloise in 2023. Boniface will now share the pitch with football icons Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane.
Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg confirmed the deal, revealing that the Nigerian star has already completed his medical tests.
