Victor Osimhen is set for a €4 million salary increase at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), as he agrees to a five-year deal. The move, pending a transfer agreement with Napoli, will see his salary rise to €14 million per season. PSG must negotiate the transfer terms, with €100 million plus a player being considered.
Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen is set to see a significant wage boost as he nears a move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The Nigerian striker has agreed to personal terms on a five-year contract with PSG, which will see his annual salary rise from €10 million at Napoli to €14 million. This deal reflects a €4 million increase in his earnings.
Negotiations between Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, and PSG have advanced, but the French club still needs to finalize the transfer with Napoli. While Napoli and their new coach, Antonio Conte, are open to selling Osimhen, PSG’s reluctance to meet the €130 million release clause could lead to a compromise involving €100 million plus a player.
The deal would also allow Napoli to pursue Romelu Lukaku as a potential replacement for Osimhen. Despite interest from Saudi Pro League club Al Ahli, Osimhen remains focused on continuing his European career. His commitment to Napoli during pre-season has impressed Conte, although the player is not expected to feature in the upcoming campaign under the Italian coach.
