South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa has pledged his solidarity with the Palestinian people, stating they are struggling against occupation and apartheid. He expressed his condolences to both the Israeli government and the Palestinian people. Still, he emphasized his solidarity with the Palestinians and empathized with their plight as an occupied people living under what has been dubbed an apartheid state. Ramaphosa reaffirmed that the African National Congress (ANC) has always stood with the Palestinian people.
