Nigerian singer 2Baba and lawmaker Natasha Osawaru appeared at the Edo election tribunal, fueling speculation about their relationship. The tribunal is set to rule on the PDP’s petition challenging Governor Okpebholo’s victory. Their presence has drawn public attention, especially after Osawaru added "Idibia" to her Instagram bio.
Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, made a notable appearance at the Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja on Wednesday. He was accompanied by Natasha Osawaru, the Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly and representative of Egor Constituency.
The tribunal is reviewing a petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Asuerinme Ighodalo, seeking to overturn the election victory of Governor Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The case has drawn significant political attention, with many awaiting the tribunal’s verdict.
However, beyond the legal proceedings, 2Baba and Osawaru’s presence together has fueled further speculation about their relationship. The pair have been seen together frequently in recent weeks, particularly after 2Baba’s separation from his wife, Annie Idibia, in January. Their public outings have stirred conversations, and Osawaru recently updated her Instagram bio to include the singer’s surname, Idibia.
