In a distressing video circulating online, Ojajuni, with an AK-47 pointed at him, pleaded with Nigerians to donate any amount to help secure his release before the deadline expires at 3 pm on Monday, February 24, 2025.
Ojajuni was kidnapped in Abuja on February 17, 2025, after being shot in the buttock. The Afenifere National Youth Council, through its National Secretary, Abiodun Aderohunmu, confirmed the incident and expressed deep concern over his safety. Aderohunmu urged authorities and the public to intervene urgently. The situation has sparked fear and outrage, with many calling for stronger security measures to curb the rising cases of kidnapping in Nigeria.
