Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson has firmly denied claims by blogger GistLover alleging an affair with Senate President Godswill Akpabio. In a video rebuttal, Egbuson labeled the accusations as false and damaging. The controversy comes amid broader allegations against Akpabio and was further exposed by GistLover.
In a recent development, renowned Nigerian actress Dakore Egbuson has strongly refuted claims that she is involved in an illicit affair with Nigeria's Senate President, Godswill Akpabio. The actress took to social media to address the allegations, calling them "a very wicked lie from the pit of hell." Egbuson vehemently denied ever having met Akpabio, stating, "You’ve messed with the wrong person."
The controversy began with a report from the popular blogger GistLover, who included Egbuson among several women allegedly linked to Akpabio, including actress Ini Edo and chef Hilda Baci. GistLover's claims suggest that Akpabio has a history of exploiting women, with purported details of unprotected encounters and a special doctor for health checks. However, GistLover has yet to provide concrete evidence for these assertions.
The blogger's exposé also touched on Akpabio's disrespectful behavior towards female lawmakers, including recent comments directed at PDP's Natasha Hadiza Akpoti and Labour Party’s Ireti Kingibe. GistLover has promised to release more details about Akpabio’s personal life and alleged embezzlement activities if he does not apologize.
