Skitmaker Zicsaloma has slammed Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for allegedly refusing to admit his critically ill mother, who is battling cancer. Despite her frail state, she was left unattended for hours as LUTH insisted on waiting for lab results. Zicsaloma calls out the lack of empathy and urgent intervention.
Skitmaker Isaac Aloma, popularly known as Zicsaloma, has called out the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) over what he describes as the mistreatment of his mother, who is battling cancer. In an emotional video, Zicsaloma explained that his mother’s condition had worsened, prompting her to be rushed to a private hospital on the Island. However, the hospital advised them to take her to LUTH, where she had previously undergone chemotherapy.
Upon arrival at LUTH, Zicsaloma claims that the hospital staff refused to admit his mother, instead sending her to a nearby lab for tests. Despite her fragile state, they allegedly locked the gates and declined to provide any immediate care.
Zicsaloma shared that the doctors were uninterested in helping, insisting that they would not allow her in until the lab results came back, a process that could take hours. He expressed his outrage, highlighting how his mother, visibly frail and struggling, was left in dire need of care while the medical staff remained unsympathetic. Zicsaloma also criticized the Nigerian healthcare system, calling out the lack of empathy and support for patients without connections. He made a desperate plea for help, urging authorities to intervene before his mother’s condition worsened further.
