Nollywood actor Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, popularly known as Ijoba Lande, has opened up about his troubled marriage, revealing deep emotional and financial struggles. In a viral video circulating on social media, he claimed his estranged wife, Muyibat, subjected him to distress before eventually leaving their marriage.
Lande alleged that his wife deliberately provoked him, hoping he would react violently, but he resisted. He admitted that despite her actions, he tried to keep the marriage intact. The comedian also spoke about his financial downturn, stating that he once earned up to ₦6 million monthly from social media platforms before being demonetized, which significantly impacted his financial stability.
Adding to his woes, Lande accused his wife of infidelity, alleging that she refused intimacy with him while engaging in extramarital affairs. He expressed his dismay, recalling how she once managed his finances, only for her loyalty to shift elsewhere. He claimed that during their child's naming ceremony, one of her alleged lovers openly displayed affection toward her in his presence.
