Joyce Wigwe, the sister of the late Herbert Wigwe, refutes claims that their father, Shyngle Wigwe, sued his granddaughter Tochi over inheritance. She clarifies the matter, emphasizing that the legal actions were aimed at ensuring transparency in handling Herbert’s estate, not targeting Tochi.

In a recent TV interview, Joyce Wigwe, the elder sister of the late Herbert Wigwe, addressed claims that their father, Shyngle Wigwe, filed a lawsuit against his granddaughter, Tochi, over inheritance matters. The rumors, which emerged following the tragic deaths of Herbert, his wife, and son in a 2024 helicopter crash, suggested that Shyngle Wigwe was involved in a legal dispute with Tochi regarding her father's assets.

Joyce vehemently denied the accusations, calling them misleading and an attempt to damage the family's reputation. She clarified that the lawsuit was never directed at Tochi but was instead focused on ensuring transparency and cooperation in handling Herbert Wigwe's estate. Joyce explained that their father had always advocated for working together with Tochi, not against her, and emphasized that the legal actions had been misrepresented by Paul Usoro, the lawyer representing Tochi. She further assured that neither Shyngle nor any member of the family would ever sue a child, underlining their commitment to unity and family values.
