A young mother in Ogun State is pleading for financial support after giving birth to quadruplets, saying her husband abandoned her when she was four months pregnant.

In a viral video, the woman, who resides in Owode Idiroko, explained that she has been struggling without any support. She revealed that her newborns need essentials like food and clothing, while she also faces an overwhelming hospital bill of ₦4.2 million.

According to her, the quadruplets were transferred to a private hospital in Ogba, Lagos, where they were placed in incubators due to medical complications. She expressed deep concern over the rising costs of their care, emphasizing that she has no means to pay.

“I have no one to turn to. My husband left when I was four months pregnant, and since then, I’ve been alone. My children need help, and I don’t know how I will manage,” she said.

Relatives have also joined in appealing for assistance, reaching out to the public and influential figures, including popular cleric Gabriel Ademola Amosun, also known as Agbala Gabriel.

Many Nigerians have taken to social media to express sympathy, with some promising donations. The case mirrors past instances where generous individuals and organizations stepped in to help struggling families with multiple births.
