Nigerian singer Portable's sister, Gbemisola, claims a family member cast a spell on him, causing his erratic behavior. Amid his ongoing clash with the Ogun State Government over property disputes, she pleads for understanding, insisting he is under spiritual influence. Portable maintains he is being set up.

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, is once again at the center of controversy following a confrontation with the Ogun State Government. Officials attempted to shut down his Odogwu restaurant in Ogun State over regulatory violations, but the encounter escalated, leading to his associates being charged in court.

Amid the backlash, Portable has gone into hiding, insisting that he is being set up by unknown individuals. However, his elder sister, Gbemisola, has now spoken out, claiming that the singer’s troubles are due to spiritual interference from a family member.

In a widely circulated video, Gbemisola appealed to the public for understanding, revealing that a relative named Akeem allegedly cast a spell on Portable, making him act out and engage in conflicts. She described Portable as the family's main provider, emphasizing that he has never stolen or deliberately caused harm.

Portable has faced numerous controversies in the past, often making headlines for his erratic behavior and public feuds. His latest troubles with the Ogun State Government add to his growing list of legal battles.

While Portable continues to plead his innocence, his sister hopes that public perception of him will change, urging authorities to show leniency due to the alleged spiritual influence at play.
