VeryDarkMan expressed frustration during a House of Representatives hearing on bribery allegations involving Bobrisky and EFCC officials. He refused to testify without Bobrisky's presence, citing a prior invitation for both. The investigation seeks to address corruption claims involving the Nigerian Correctional Service and the EFCC.
Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, expressed his frustration at the House of Representatives hearing concerning bribery allegations involving Bobrisky and officials from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The hearing, which aims to investigate claims of corruption within the Nigerian Correctional Service and the EFCC, was set to include testimonies from several key figures, including Bobrisky. However, the crossdresser's absence was keenly felt.
VeryDarkMan had previously shared an audio recording in which Bobrisky allegedly confessed to bribing EFCC officials with N15 million to dismiss a money laundering charge against her. Although Bobrisky denied these claims, labeling the recording as “fake,” the controversy surrounding the allegations led to her invitation to the hearing.
During the proceedings, VeryDarkMan made it clear that he would refrain from testifying without Bobrisky present. He stated, “Today I will not say anything because an invitation was given to me and Bobrisky, but he is not here. I don’t see why I will be here, and he will not, so I won’t say anything, but my lawyer will.” His remarks underscore the tension and significance of Bobrisky’s involvement in the ongoing investigation. The lead chairman of the committee, Hon Ginger Onwusibe, has called for the appearance of all relevant parties to address the bribery allegations thoroughly.
