Nigerian food is one of the most popular in Africa and worldwide. There are thousands of recipes, and it is probably the most talked about in the world.

Nigeria has one of the best varieties of Jollof rice. With its enticing aroma, deep red color, and spicy taste, jollof rice is the undisputed queen of West African cuisines. It is our beloved culinary treasure and a dish from our heart and soul. Nigerian food is an integral part of Nigerian culture. It defines the Nigerian people. We are ready to eat our food daily without getting bored wherever we are. We prefer to eat Nigerian food in any country we find ourselves in. This is because we never feel fulfilled if we don't eat the right Nigerian food from our home country. The so-called Oyibo food is not filling for an average Naija person! Many people worldwide are up in arms about our indigenous dishes and cuisines.

Nigerian Art​

Nigerian art has existed for more than a century. Nigerian art has transcended all boundaries and continues to do so today. The average tradition in Nigeria does not see art as something jocular but as one of the pieces that hold our heritage together as Nigerians. Nigeria has a rich artistic heritage encompasses both traditional and contemporary art forms. From the naturalistic statues made in Ife to the bronzes made for the King of Benin, Nigerian artists have created world-renowned artworks. The terracotta figures of Nok are among the earliest statues found in sub-Saharan Africa. Ekpe masks and Ikenga (personal shrines) of the Igbo in eastern Nigeria and Ibeji sculptures (twins) of the Yoruba in western Nigeria are just three examples of the art that emerged in pre-colonial Nigeria.

This leads to a gradient of decreasing rainfall from south to north. Nigerian weather is relatively suitable for travelers from different parts of the world.

Nigerian music​

Nigerian music has existed for years; the most popular then was palm wine music and highlife, which prevailed and spread in African countries like Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Ghana. In Nigeria, palm wine became the mainstay of juju, a genre that dominated popular music for many years.

Nigerian music is growing fast and spreading to all continents. This has given the country's entertainment industry a real boost. According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the entertainment industry accounts for 1.45% of Nigeria's GDP. In 2016, the arts, entertainment, and recreation sector generated revenues of N239 billion, accounting for about 2.3% of Nigeria's GDP that year. This has attracted tourism and travelers from all over the world. Nigerian superstars such as Burna Boy and Wizkid have won Grammy awards, putting the country on the world map.
