
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has said he has not endorsed any individual for the 2027 governorship election in Rivers State. Speaking during his monthly media chat in Abuja on Wednesday, Wike stated that he cannot endorse anyone until the joint coalition involving PDP and APC members in the state meets. He also said the coalition is not working with Governor Siminalayi Fubara, accusing him of reneging on an agreement made before President Bola Tinubu that prevented his impeachment. Wike added, "You know that Fubara and I are not working."
