This achievement surpasses the previous record held by Asake’s Lungu Boy, which garnered 6 million streams. The album's full debut also shattered expectations, with Morayo accumulating 16.27 million streams on its first full day of release, marking it the highest debut for any African album on the platform.
Additionally, Wizkid’s song Kese (Dance) broke the record for the most single-day streams for any track on Spotify Nigeria, taking over from his song Piece of My Heart, which previously held the title.
