Nigerian music sensation, Wizkid, has sent shockwaves through the music industry by announcing his hiatus from the music scene in a series of Instagram posts. The superstar, whose real name is Ayodeji Balogun, informed his fans that he's taking a break of either four or five years.
In his own playful and unique style, Wizkid said, "Back in 4 years, make una papa chop him money small or maybe five or I fit still go dey play ball now. Or make I start dey play golf, Fifa or wrestling b*tch! All of una dey craze! Everybody dey mad."
The unexpected decision comes after Wizkid recently canceled several music performances due to the loss of his mother, indicating he might be taking this time to heal and spend time with family.
