A woman, identified as Odeale Fatimah, was arrested by the Ogun State police after allegedly using a razor blade to harm a 10-year-old boy, Olasunkanmi Oluwadamilara, for stealing N600. The incident occurred on January 13, 2025, in the Obada Oko area.

The boy, a student at Dinamis Private School, was discovered with severe cuts on his hands. A delegation from the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools in Obada Oko, led by coordinator Olagbegi Moses, brought the injured child to the police station. Upon questioning, Olasunkanmi revealed that his guardian, Fatimah, was responsible for the injuries.

Fatimah admitted to using a razor blade to punish the boy after she accused him of stealing the money to buy ice cream for his friends. The police have begun investigating the case, and further developments are expected in the coming days.
