The All Progressives Congress has concluded its 8th national convention at Eagle Square, Abuja, reaffirming Nentawe Yilwatda as national chairman and Ajibola Basiru as national secretary. Delegates elected a new national working committee through a consensus arrangement endorsed by stakeholders. Benjamin Obi Nwoye was named deputy national chairman (south), replacing Emma Eneukwu, following consultations influenced by zoning considerations and Enugu Governor Peter Mbah. President Bola Tinubu, Vice-President Kashim Shettima, governors, and other party leaders graced the convention.
