In March 2024, the Federal Executive Council approved the launch of the revamped N-YIF, starting with an initial funding of N110 billion.
The N-YIF aims to enhance financial access for young people and youth-led enterprises to foster national development. It seeks to address unemployment by encouraging marginalized and underemployed youth, aged 18 to 40, to pursue sustainable income-generating projects.
