Following the ongoing boundary adjustment between Nigeria and Cameroon by the United Nations as a result of the International Court of Justice (ICJ)’s judgment that ceded the oil-rich Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon, Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba, has raised the alarm that if nothing was urgently done, Nigeria would lose most of its tourist sites to Cameroon.

Ndoma-Egba, who spoke to newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday, also gave reasons why the National Assembly, especially the present Senate, has been having friendly relationship with the executive, stressing that the world over, the Senate acts as a stabiliser of the polity in conflict situations.
