Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has said that the party’s recent loss to its rival, the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, in Ekiti State would not make it occupy the Rivers State Government House in 2015.
The party, however, said the upset in Ekiti, where the incumbent governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, lost last week’s gubernatorial poll to Ayodele Fayose, was unexpected, adding that it does not portend any danger to the APC.
