Former Ondo State Representative on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Benson Enikuomehin has petitioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Abubakar over alleged threat to his life by people suspected to be agents of the state government.
Enikuomehin was the State Returning Officer for the Labour Party (LP) during the 2012 governorship election in the state but fell out with the incumbent governor, Olusegun Mimiko shortly after the recent inconclusive bye-Election in Ilaje/Ese-Odo federal constituency following his outburst on Channels TV Sunrise programme.
In the petition dated April 17, and sent to the IGP, the Lawyer linked the threat to his life and family members to his objective criticisms of the Mimiko led government
