PDP’s gubernatorial candidate in Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose, and his Osun counterpart, Sen. Iyiola Omisore, met behind closed doors with President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday.
After the meeting, Fayose told State House Correspondents that Sunday’s political clash and preparations for the forthcoming governorship elections in #Ekiti and Osun came up for discussion during the meeting.
Fayose said the bloody clash between members of PDP and APC in Ado-Ekiti left one person dead.
He alleged that the initial plan of the APC supporters was to remove his branded T-shirt on the deceased and replace it with APC uniform to give the impression that they were attacked.
