A political forum known as Patriotic Northern Coalition for Justice and Equity has urged the North to tow the path of honour and maturity by discarding its presidential ambition under any political platform to pave way for President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election come 2015.
Saying that rather than nurse presidential ambition, the North should concentrate in addressing the security challenges bedevilling the region for effective and speedy development, the group in a press statement issued in Bauchi and made available to National Mirror and signed by its president, Munir Babangida Sule Manchok, Jnr, insisted that returning the presidency to the North is not the solution to the current hydra-headed problems in the country.
