Ahead of next year’s general election, angry youths from the southern senatorial district of Cross River State have warned desperate politicians to keep their guns to themselves as they are not ready to die for anybody in the name of politicking.
The youths further warned those stockpiling weapons in readiness for 2015 elections to be wary of the consequences as they had vowed to resist any attempt to lure them into election violence.
Speaking at a special town hall meeting held in Calabar at the weekend with the theme: “That We May Be One,” the youths, under the aegis of Youth Success Institute and Coalition of Political Support Groups, enjoined politicians to for once play the game according to the rules instead of dragging the nation into disrepute in the name of election.
