The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum has pledged its loyalty to the success of President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015, although the President is yet to formally announce a bid for re-election.
Chairman of the forum and Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio, gave the hint on Tuesday morning after a meeting between the governors and Jonathan at the Presidential Villa.
Also at the meeting, which lasted from about 10pm on Monday night to 1:30 am the following day, were the party leadership and members of the PDP caucus in the House of Representatives, led by the Deputy Speaker, Emeka Ihedioha, and Majority Leader, Mulikat Akande.
