Politics 2015: Presidential Nomination Form May Cost N20m - Daily Times

Ahead of the 2015 presidential elections, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) might increase the price of its nomination forms to N20 million. A source within the PDP explained‎ that, going by precedence in the previous elections where the price of the presidential form was usually double that of the gubernatorial, it is expected that it will be raised. The source declined to give a specific idea of how much it will cost, but if it was gathered that presidential aspirants may be expected to pay N20million ‎for nomination form and N2million for expression of interest.

The party had set precedence with Anambra State where the party pegged expression of interest form and nomination form for governorship election at N1million and N10million respectively. The same sum was paid by governorship aspirants in Ekiti and Osun states.
