Here is a list of the top 10 states and the number of candidates that applied in each.

1. Imo State - 104,383 candidates

2. Delta State - 78,854 candidates

3. Anambra - 77,694 candidates

4. Osun State - 72,752 candidates

5. Oyo State - 72,298 candidates

6. Enugu State - 69,381 candidates

7. Edo State - 66,107 candidates

8. Ogun State - 62,973 candidates

9. Akwa Ibom - 62,369 candidates

10. Benue State - 60,160 candidates.
