BudgIT, a civic organisation driven to make the Nigerian budget and public data more understandable and accessible across every literacy span has listed about seventeen frivolous and suspicious items in the 2017 budget submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government.
When Nigerian Bulletin checked the document prepared and submitted by the civil organization-led by Seun Onigbinde to the National Assembly, there are about seventeen line items that raised various questions with a worth of over 2.1 trillion Naira in the Ministry of Transportation, apart from other items on other ministries and parastatals of government.
