Candidates for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State have been denied to enter the premises of the institution. The entrance to the institution is said to agog with students, parents and staff of the school.
It was learnt that the irate students barricaded the entrance of the institution as early as 6 a.m, to show their displeasure towards the owner states over the non-payment of salaries to staff which has culminated into incessant strike actions.
Recall that students of the institution were at home for more 7 months following the industrial action embarked upon by workers’ unions.
