Alhaji Muhammadu Abdullahi Sugar, has stated that the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar should take over from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019,
He stated this in a recent interview with Daily Trust.
The atiku close ally gave the following reasons for his suggestion:
1. Atiku possesses the ‘expertise and exposure’ needed to address the challenges facing the country
2. if Atiku was given the mandate to pilot the affairs of the country, he would turn around its fortunes within a short period.
3. Late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua succeeded in addressing most of the challenges facing the country at that time in six months before his ailment weighed him down by using late Shehu Musa Yar’adua which was co-designed by Atiku.
4. Atiku has the capacity to restart the implementation of the Yar-Adua template for the benefit of the masses.
5. He said atiku has a wide range of experience and global connection to fix the country
