Today was filled with surprises. Several unexpected, and interesting events happened. Here's three of them:
- Abia state's Governor Okezie Ikpeazu was sacked by the Federal High Court in Abuja
- Senate President Bukola Saraki, his deputy Ike Ekweremadu made a surprise appearance at the federal high court in Abuja. They were arraigned for allegedly forging Senate Standing Rules which brought them into office. Both were granted bail.
- Following his appearance at the federal high court, Senate President Saraki wrote a "thick" statement making some inuendos about the President Muhammadu Buhari's government. The Presisdency promptly replied
