A three-year-old boy drowned his newborn twin brother and left the other permanently brain damaged as he tried to bathe them while their mother slept off four super strength lagers.

The boy said he wanted to make his siblings 'nice and clean'.

When the insomniac mother, fell asleep in the afternoon after drinking the alcohol, the toddler woke up and ran a 10-inch bath of cold water for his siblings.

The mother woke to the sight of her infant children naked and unconscious, not breathing, then called the police.

Defending Counsel, David McLaughlin, said the mother will be haunted by what happened forever.

'She bears full responsibility – not a day goes by when she doesn’t think about what happened. Every morning she wakes up with a vision of her babies’ faces in the bath, a vision that will haunt her forever-more,' he said.

She was sentenced to one year in prison, two years suspension and a supervision order after pleading guilty to three counts of neglect.

The Judge, Mrs Justice Cox said, 'Your real punishment will lie in the images that will stay with you, possibly permanently, of what happened that day.'

Defending Counsel, David Mc"Hahaha"lin was using the old appeal to emotion. She will be haunted by the memory, and for good measure, Hilariouslin also gave a prosaic summary of what goes on in her head.

Drinking four super-strength beers while you have babies to tend to reeks of irresponsibility, especially considering the fact that these were not your first kids.

I feel for her sha. She will be haunted forever.

As will the three-year old boy. When he grows and realizes what he has done.

LOL. Not that I didn't say "when he remembers". I said "when he realizes", because one way or another, someone is likely to tell him. He's made headline news already.

He will find out soon enough.

Assuming he was taken from his mother and put into foster care to a place far away from his home. *as likely will be*. Now, let's say his name was changed and no one mentioned the incident to him again. Isn't it possible he forget and won't ever realize what he's done?
*just saying*

LMAO. It's possible....especially in Nollywood scripts. :D :D :D
Even if he is that lucky, he'll prolly find out. Oyinbo people don't let sleeping dogs lie. He'll prolly wonder y he was adopted or placed in foster care then set out on a fact finding mission; prolly find true love somewhere along the line, but he'll find out if he tries. yeah, Danielle Steel has ruined me.

Is V... a male author? you see, I'm trying out Feminism and I refuse to help males reach millions of sales. wait..., is V... by any chance Vunderkind?!
Loool..Thanks for exposing your chauvinistic nature, I'm pretty sure it took a lot to reveal.

As much as @Vunderkind may want to take that glory for himself, he would just smile and reveal the truth. I'd let him make the announcement.

Lmao. I want to say "V" is for Vunderkind, but V is truly for "V", the mysterious crime boss who knew Al Capone and who is as anonymous as his appellation.

All heads bow, please :(

You see @Bolanle Akaji, he appears a modest fellow.

...but I warn, he exalts his (online) name and reputation above his desire for self-glory. If not...
