It is down to the last game in La Liga as both Barcelona and Real Madrid go hunting for the three points that could make them league champions.

In Kano, Pillars will be seeking to go top of the table while Pellegrini needs to deliver a gift to the incoming Pep Guardiola away in Wales.

Here are 4 matches to watch out for....

Granada vs. Barcelona @ Los Cármenes @4pm on May 14

It is down to the wire in La Liga with Barcelona needing an outright win away to Granada to retain the title. The Blaugrana have scored 21 goals in their last four matches without conceding any while Granada have saved their season by not losing at their Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes since February when José González took over.

They completed their escape from relegation last weekend when they beat Sevilla 4-1 away.

Luis Enrique agrees that his players must be prepared. “At this point [of the campaign] the pressure is very high because any small mistake can cost you dearly,” he said.

Deportivo vs. Real Madrid @ Estadio Municipal de Riazor @4pm on May 14

It is not in Real’s hands but they will be praying that their great rivals, Barcelona slip up away to Granada though they still have to get all three points against Deportivo to take advantage.

Los Blancos manager, Zinedine Zidane, said in his press conference on Friday that, “The most important game of our lives is Saturday’s, we have to win to get all three points.”

Kano Pillars vs. Heartland @Sani Abacha Stadium @4pm on May 15

The gap between the top of the NPFL table and 16th position is eight points – which shows how tight it is in the league. Pillars have faltered to get on top of the table in the past three weeks as they have lost matches that many thought they would win.

They can finally get ahead of Rangers if they get a good home win against a Heartland side that is blowing hot and cold and do not have any away win yet.

Swansea vs. Man. City @LIBERTY Stadium @3pm on May 15

Can Manuel Pellegrini ensure that his City side finishes in Champions League places or he does not care what happens on Sunday? That is the big question as the Citizens seek Champions League football next season in Wales against the Swans.

Pellegrini has admitted that the announcement of Pep Guardiola as his replacement undermined the team’s season but will his players give him one last hurray?
