Politics 5 APC States Where Party Bigwigs are Seriously Fighting Each Other



Aware of the infighting within its camp, the APC has decided to set up a peace and reconciliation committee to intervene in its state chapters so that peace can reign as its national convention draws nearer.

Here are 5 APC-controlled states where the party chieftains are against each other:

Bauchi state - Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, have been challenging Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar and the state party leadership.

Other gladiators challenging the policies of governor Abubakar are Senator Ali Wakili, Senator Suleiman Nazif Gamawa , Senator Isah Hammah Misau, Rep Ahmed Yarima, and Rep Aminu Tukur.

Kano state - Supremacy battle between incumbent Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and his predecessor, Dr Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, who is now a senator.

Kogi state- Governor Yahaya Bello battle 3 camps- the Audu/Faleke group, Senator Dino Melaye group as well as the state chapter of the APC.

Gombe state - Goje, Nafada, legacy parties at each other's throats.

Kaduna state- Governor Nasir El rufai, Senator Shehu Sani lock horns. In Kaduna, the All Progressives Congress (APC) split into two even before the inauguration of the APC led administration in the state.
