Business 5 Fastest Growing Non-oil Sectors of Nigeria's Economy

Nigeria - From the figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics for the national accounts for Q1 2015,
Proshare has highlighted the five fastest growing sectors of the economy.

The scope is limited to what the NBS terms activity sectors, which are often subdivided into segments, and only those accounting for at least 1% of GDP at constant market prices.


Accommodation and Food services (26.7% growth year on year)

Construction (11% growth y/y)

ICT (9% growth y/y)

Finance(8% growth y/y)

Education (6.5% growth y/y)
