5 Persons may have lost their lives as a pedestrian bridge under construction on Sheik Jafar road, Kano state collapsed on a moving cab.
Eyewitness, Salisu Ibrahim told Vanguard that the incident occured around 5.00 pm this evening. He said that aid that the taxi cab had five passengers including the driver, adding that “it would be miracle if any passengers survived this accident.
The Kano police command has confirmed the incident and commenced rescue operations to help trapped pedestrians.
