According to Brazilian Authorities, a building in it's commercial district of Sao Paulo has collapsed, killing at least six people.
More than 20 people were also injured and eight people remain unaccounted for.
The two-storey building was in its final phase of construction.
The victims were workers on the site.
It is not yet clear what caused the building to fall.
About 60 firefighters carefully searched the rubble, using dogs to help locate victims.
A firefighter, Marcos Palumbo told the Globo TV network that "right now the work is slow, very cautious, because to pull people from the rubble we need a lot of technique and patience".
