8 Items Banned From Exports By Nigeria Customs [See LIST]

The following items have been prohibited for exports by the Nigerian Customs Service. This means you cannot be allowed to export the following materials. Any attempt to smuggle them across the border will be deemed illegal.

  • Maize
  • Timber (Rough or Sawn)
  • Raw Hides and Skin (including wet blue and all unfinished leather)
  • Scrap metals
  • Unprocessed rubber latex and rubber lumps
  • Artifacts and Antiquities
  • Wildlife animals classified as endangered species and their products e.g. Crocodile; Elephant, Lizard, Eagle, Monkey, Zebra, Lion etc.
  • All goods imported

Thank u for this info especially as it concerns scrap metals. So all the Abokis wey de buy scrap metals go stop, abi? Oya mek I kukuma go sell d ones wey I don gather before them go stop t d buy.
