Politics 82-year-old Ambassadorial Nominee 'Justice Nsofor' Refuses to Sing National Anthem During Screening

Justice Sylvanus Nsofor (retd.), an 82-year-old non-career ambassadorial nominee, who appeared before the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, on Wednesday refused to sing the National anthem during his screening.



Hon. Justice Nsofor answered all the questions asked by the lawmakers but when Senator Gbenga Ashafa (APC Lagos East), he refused and engaged the lawmakers in a fierce argument. Tired of the argument, the lawmakers asked the ambassadorial nominee to take a bow which he promptly did.

Hon. Justice Nsofor is a nominee from Imo State.

Truly sad. I am sure he has a sharp mind and great capacity, but that can be utilised in Nigeria. Get some 'young guns' out there.
