The Abia state house of assembly has suspended its minority leader, Abraham Oba, for speaking against a N30 billion loan which the state government is planning to obtain.
According to DAILY TRUST, Oba, representing Aba Central state constituency, led members of his party, All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) to address the press over the resolution in which the House approved for Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to borrow N30 billion. At the press briefing, the APGA Caucus accused the speaker of the house of deceiving them to pass the resolution.
Oba has been replaced with Hon Ikedi Ezekwesiri.
