The Ahmadu Bello University will today issue a statement as the Nigerian Senate commences its probe into Senator Dino Melaye's scandal.

Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, who presided over plenary on Tuesday had referred the matter to the Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, which was asked to report back to the lawmakers in four weeks.
