Alhaji Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, speaker of the Adamawa state house of assembly and his deputy, Barrister Kwamoti Laori have been impeached.
THIS DAY reports that the duo were impeached by 9 out of 25 members of the state assembly who sat on Tuesday in the conference Hall of Government House,Yola. The ouster came after a parallel sitting at the House of the Assembly complex in Yola, presided by Fintiri , where 10 members including the Speaker also sat .
After the impeachment, the lawmakers appointed of Honourable Wale Fwa as Protem speaker.
