The first Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke on Saturday officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the August 9, governorship election in the state.
Adeleke joined APC along with the State Deputy Chairman of Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. B T Sallam, Debo Ayinde, former member of House of Representatives, Alhaji Kamorudeen Olagoke, Alhaji Akintol Aliu among into the fold of party.
The grand reception for Adeleke took place at Nelson Mandela Freedom Park in Osogbo as hundreds of party faithful, thronged the venue to witness the event.
