Laboratory result of the alleged outbreak of Ebola virus in Nigeria has indicated that the case was Dengue Heamorrhagic Fever (DFV) and not Ebola as was reported in a section of the media.
Minister of State for Health, Khaliru Alhassan, disclosed this at a media briefing in Abuja on Tuesday.
Regardless, he added that “all Port Health Post and border medical centres have been put on high alert to screen travellers from countries like Guinea Conakry with confirmed Ebola Heamorrhagic Fever occurrences.
